Oral history collection, 1967-1976.

Reminiscences of Riverhead, their ancestors, and personal life by longtime local residents, business people, and politicans. Those interviewed include Harold Beverage and Harold O. Peterson of the RCA Laboratory; Robert Vojvoda, the Town Supervisor; Otis Pike, a United States Congressman; Eddie Johnson, a black man who worked for the power company and the Perkins family; Frank Harris, an early flyer; Nathaniel Talmage Sr., an agriculturalist; Isidore Scheinberg, a lawyer; Elizabeth Overton and Lizette Hand of the Riverhead Free Library; Ralph Fanning, formerly head of the Fine Arts Department at Ohio University; Darrel Hilliker who was Dean of the Evening Extension Program at Suffolk County Community College; and historical reminiscences of Harrison Tyte, Eva Terry, Helen Hannah, William Hannah, and Amy Tooker.
